The Long Island City Neighborhood Plan, known as OneLIC, provides the opportunity to build much-needed housing, schools, and resiliency and sewage infrastructure for the Long Island City community. Informed by 18 months of input from across the neighborhood, now is the time to speak up!

Creating more permanently affordable homes at multiple income levels that LIC residents desperately need, including affordable homeownership opportunities

Securing public waterfront access from Queensbridge Park to Gantry State Park with state-of-the-art, WEDG® (Waterfront Edge Design Guidelines) certified resiliency infrastructure

Converting City-owned sites under the Queensboro Bridge into essential open spaces and parks, connecting Queensbridge Houses with surrounding neighborhoods, and ensuring the 44-36 Vernon Blvd Dept. of Education site serves actual community needs through inclusive decision-making
New Schools For Our Children
Creating 1,300+ critically needed classroom seats for K-8 students, as well as early childhood education centers and a high school for college readiness
